Mother's Day Paper Craft Ideas...Part 1

ScanNCut Mother's Day Gifts Title

Mother's Day is coming up fast! Do you have a gift ready yet??? Is it wrapped??? -Don't panic, I have just the thing for you...Mom will love it (and not just because you made it for her!)

Paper Basket

I tweaked the original design, from ScanNCut USB #4, so that I was able to cut it out bigger using two sheets of paper.

Supplies Needed for the Basket:

Here's a video to walk you through the instructions...or you can follow the written tutorial below.

Instructions for the Basket:

Step 1 – Open up USB #4 on your ScanNCut machine and select design #35, the bag/basket.

Step 2 – Select just the half of the design and delete it. (see video above for detailed instructions)

Step 3 – Add a cut line at the bottom of the pattern.

Step 4 – Unify the design & the cut line together.

Step 5 – Rotate diagonally and enlarge the design to be as large as possible.

Step 6 – Cut the design out on two pieces of 12”x12” patterned paper.

Step 7 – Adhere the two patterns together where you added the cut line.

Step 8 – Assemble as you would if you had just cut out the original design. (See the instructions that accompany the USB, or watch the video for detailed instructions.)

Add a cute tag to your gift by using the patterns that are already installed on your machine. Just cut out the tag, letters and heart and glue them adhere them down with glue and extra love.
