BLOG Erin Bassett - Imaginisce - Enchanted - Dreams Card Here's the card I created for the color challenge on the Imaginisce blog.  The tricky part of the challenge is that one of the colors is I added some yellow Stickles to "Dream" that was on the die cut and then a yummy yellow ribbon.

Add your color challenge project here by 2/25 to for a chance to win a $75 prize package.

Now, for you blog hoppers...hop on over to the following blogs:

Handmade Card: The Perfect Pair

For my LSS we had a challenge to use sports paper...which isn't really any of the design team's favorite thing to use but we persevered, LOL.  I made a layout and this cute card!  It's simple, kinda corny & favs.  :)

Erin Bassett - Bowling Card
The bowling pins were fussy cut out from a crazy bowling pin patterned paper and then popped up with some foam adhesive. I used my Cricut (cartridge: Spring Holiday Cards) to cut out the black frame and embossed the black cardstock insert with my Cuttlebug .  I used my i-rock to add the white studs .

Studio Re-do: Mid-Chaos

So if you follow me on Twitter you know that I'm re-doing my studio space.  It started just before CHA when we got rid of the futon that was in there and then emptied out the filing cabinets so they could get moved out.

And now I have a big 'ol mess!!!

I went to the hardware store and got a solid core door and had them cut it to 80" x 24" and also got some support pieces.  My husband built me this workbench that's at the perfect height for me to stand up and work...I just need to add some wood trim and paint to it.  I'm thinking of adding a glass top to it as well.

I've also made an Ikea run to get some cabinets which I can't wait to put together.  Assembling them got delayed since I had minor surgery on my ankle for a pre-cancerous mole that had previously been removed and then started to grow back.  {Get your moles check people!!!}  I've also been shopping for modern rugs, lighting, etc.

Hopefully I'll be able to share more progress soon!  And for those of you that want to know what my space looked like previously you can check out this video that I did for Mixology Crafts a while ago.  It's evolved since then, but you'll see how small the nook was that I was working in was.  I can't wait to moved completely into the studio office and say goodbye to the nook!

Altered Chocolate Box (#Valentine)

Over on the Imaginisce blog we've been sharing Valentine's Day ideas this week and today there's a lot of "lovely" projects!  Wink-wink!!!  I'm so funny LOL!  {There's also an awesome giveaway on the Imaginisce blog today!!!}

BLOG Erin Bassett - Imaginisce - Altered Valentine Choclate Box

For my project,  I just bought a Valentine's chocolate box and altered the top of it with papers, flowers, rub-ons, pins and some great trims.  It was the perfect way to use some of my leftover odds and ends.

Here's a close up...I love those two little birds hiding above the flower.  They are rub-on's from a really old Imaginisce line "Sweet Cheri".

10 Things I Love About Us

From the second I saw this idea on Simple Scrapper's February Project I loved it & couldn't wait to do it.  I used my Studio Calico kit on it...which I think was perfect for it along with a Hambly transparency for the cover.  I ruffed up the edges with my Distrezz-It-All again and created the tags with my Cricut and some Chalkboard Glimmer Mist and bound it with my Cinch.   I can't wait to give it to my Hubs.  :)
