Save The Tatas Corsage

Erin_Bassett - Save The Tata's donation I was blessed to have a chance to contribute auction items for the "Save The Tatas" event at Remember When this past weekend.

I donated this corsage, a Cricut cartridge and some adhesive & was pleasantly surprised at what they sold for!  Thanks ladies for giving to such a worthy cause!!

Ok, so you want the scoop on Spark?  It was fun!  It was inspiring!  It was good bonding time with friends!

If you want the nitty-gritty on the classes and stuff check out my article on Craft Critique.

If you want to see the other stuff check out the photo montage I compiled below.  You'll see pics from our Pre-Spark dinner, some of the Spark decor, photo booth fun (along with other photo ops), the on-site shopping, the food (and candy!!), the Mindy Gledhill concert, Star Mill Antique store photos (A-MA-ZING store!!), the Dear Lizzie store, and all the fun that we had.

I loved hanging out with Michelle and Stephanie!  We had such a great time at Spark and shopping as Star Mill and Dear Lizzie....hopefully we can do it again next year!

Scrapbook Page: First day of Kindergarten

Don't worry, I didn't forget about my Spark re-cap...I'm just waiting for my editor to review my main re-cap for Craft Critique and then I'll post my more personal stuff here on my blog.

In the meanwhile, here's a layout I did for Remember When.  I was blessed to be able to scrapbook a very special day for a friend...her daughter's first day of Kindergarten!

Isn't Bethany so cute!!!  She looks so excited!

The base of the layout is Bo Bunny's new school paper.  I used my Cricut & the Simply Charmed to create the crayons, and then dressed up a Basic Grey chipboard letter "K" with Bo Bunny paper, a 7Gypsies watch face and added some colorful buttons for good measure.  Those letters are October Afternoon Ledger stickers and my handy-dandy old-school Dymo Label Maker.  I love that label maker for paper crafts!  Did you know the labels come in pastels and brights too?  I was originally going to use the pastel pink for this layout, but it just didn't work out.

I love that notebook paper and the strips at the bottom of the page.  The transparency is from Hambly, and scalloped one is Sassafras Lass.

Recovering from Spark

Erin - Frame1 Whew!  What a great weekend!!  I was at Spark with some fabulous women and totally had a blast!  I'm getting together my projects & thoughst and then I'll do a quick little video on the check back.  :)

By the way, this awesome pic was taken at the cutest antique place called Star Mill....I have a ton of great shots from there that I'll share in a bit too.
