Some Imaginisce Scrapbook Layouts
Play Time!

Time for the Mad Hatter crop!

I'm headed over to Remember When for the Mad Hatter's going to be so fun!!

Here's a sneak peek of one of the Tattered Angles make 'n takes I'll be doing there thanks to the wonderful Amy Coon's inspiration.

{Edited to add some directions on how to make these}

  • Grunge paper
  • UTEE (Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel)
  • Prima white paper flowers (I used large, two small)
  • Tattered Angles Glimmer Mist
  • Cuttlebug & embossing folders
  • Stazon Ink (Black)
  • Clear Embossing Ink
  • Prima bling for center
  • Tweezers (optional)
  • Heat gun
  • Ribbon
  • Crop-O-Dile or hole punch
  • Stapler or glue

  • Cut grunge paper so to 1 1/2" x 6 inches.
  • Place it diagonally inside a Cutttlebug embossing folder; run through Cuttlebug.
  • Spray with Glimmer Mist...don't blot! Heat set with heat gun.
  • Ink the embossing with StazOn ink.
  • Punch holes in the ends so when finished you can string a ribbon through it & tie it onto your wrist.
  • Take all your flowers and spray them with desired Glimmer Mist...heat gun dry.
  • Press largest flower into embossing ink pad so that it's totally covered in embossing ink.  Dip flower into UTEE so that it's totally covered.  Heat gun it to melt the UTEE.  Repeat 3 times for each flower.  (Note: after the last heating of the flower you can bend it into position before it cools & hardens...just be careful, it's HOT!!)
  • Once all the flowers are coated 3 times in UTEE & have cooled glue them together staple them to the center of the band you previously made.  (Staple it pokey side up so it doesn't scratch your arm.)
  • Cover staple with a bling.
  • Tie ribbon through holes & into a bow on your wrist. (A friend is super helpful for this step!!)
