Here's a cute little T-shirt I made for my niece for St. Patrick's Day. I used my Cricut Expression to cut out some hearts out of different patterns of fabric to make a shamrock (I hand cut a stem for it). I also cut out a small little heart for the sleeve.
To cut fabric with the Cricut I first ironed some Heat N Bond Iron On Adhesive onto the "wrong" side of the fabric and then placed it on the mat. I change my settings to medium speed and high pressure. I then just cut as I normally would.
Once the pieces were cut out I took them off of the mat, removed the protective backing, and then ironed them onto the shirt. Next I added some decorative stitches to the shamrock and heart.
Go check out When Creativity Knock and see the cute bangle bracelets the ladies are making...I think I need to add this to my to-do-list!
