Fun Links

V-sunburstWant to visit a fun site????  Try Be Funky!  I saw a link to it on Laura's blog & finally tried it out tonight....I think I could get carried away playing there LOL.

That's a photo of my niece going down a slide.

Il_430xN_46496607I got some new jewelry!  I love new jewelry...especially handmade jewelry....and especially when a friend made it.  I met Marfa online a really, really long time fact, I think she was one of the first "strangers" I ever met online & opened up to & now look at us....friends forever.  Anyway, she opened an Etsy shop & has some great handmade jewelry check it out.  I'll post a photo of me wearing it some time this week (hopefully)...but until then, here's a couple of shots of it that Marfa took.  Oh, and here's her blog if you want to check that out too!

Ok, and here's another "keeper" link for you scrapbookers/card makers..."arizona dreamer" posted this on 2Peas the other day & Patter blogged about it, which is how I came to hear about it.  -Any how, it's a site that help you match popular patterned paper to Bazzill paper.  Check out Bazzill Matchmaker.

7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to seeing friends, tomorrow my plans include something that I haven't figured out yet (boy this week went by fast!) and Sunday, I want to relax & purge those magazines !

Yudu Screen Printing on Vinyl and Felt

EPB-Yudu_VinylBag I had to go to Target today & while I was there I found a cheap ($0.99) little vinyl bag that needed a good also needed a bit of embellishment.  I used my Yudu to put the "E" on it and added a bit of ribbon too.  I used my heat gun to heat set the ink.  I'm interested to see how well it will hold up.  It does feel like it's on there pretty well....but we'll see.

This was a little tricky to print on since the zipper pushed the Yudu screen up when I tested I opened the bag up & put one of my Close To My Heart acrylic blocks inside with double stick tape on it (to keep it from sliding around) and it worked great!

EPB-Yudu_OrangeEonFelt So, once I had that done, I thought to myself....what else can I print on that I haven't yet???  Felt.  It worked really well too.  Someone better stop me before I turn into Lavern & Shirley & have my initial on everything.  :D
