Productive Day

I've been very productive as far as scrapbooking and laundry are concerned today.  I'm even making dinner!  We're having steak, potatoes (sweet for me & white for my DH), & broccoli....yum-o!  Anyways, here's what I made:

Epblo_taught_3 <------Yep, that's my DH....the baked potato eater.

Epblo_happinessisbeingadad_2 <----------That's my Bro & his daughter.  Laura inspired me to use a bottle cap on this LO.

Epblo_angela_james <----------That's my BIL & his wife

Epblo_optimistic <-----And, of course, that's ME!

Hope your weekend is going great!

Catch up

Well, I tried to post last night but just as I finished my post up my laptop battery died & I lost it.  Hate when that happens.  I was just going to tell you that I checked out Martha's stuff at Michaels yesterday.  The only thing that I thought was really cute was the muffin/cupcake wrappers, which I bought.  The SBing stuff was just too straight laced for my tastes.  I did pick up a set of her acrylic stamps to try out though...I'll let you know how I like them after I try them out.

Epblo_auntie_e_2 I also was going to post a LO I scraplifted from Amber yesterday.  So here it is.

On other news I got some Diva-luv from Andrea!  Woo-hoo, can't wait to see what it is.

Sorry & ATG

Sorry to leave you hang'n.  My DH hijacked my router & took it to the office so I had to get another one & set it up.  Anyhow, I'm back!!

Atg714_2 I've gotten a lot of emails lately about 3M's ATG adhesive gun.  So here's a summary of my experience with it.

  • I got my ATG 714 (the red one that holds the 1/4" adhesive) from since they have such a great price on them.  I love that it holds 36 yards of acid-free adhesive!!!  (No more stopping SBing to find some adhesive!)
  • It is by far the least expensive "runner" adhesive you'll find.
  • The adhesive sticks really well...better then the Duck type that I was using.
  • The gun is lightweight....less then a pound when loaded.  It does not bother my writs at all when I've been using it all day and I have Lupus which affects my wrists.
  • You can get refills online (at,, etc) and I'm sure that as they increase in popularity you'll be able to by them locally if you need to.  Professional framers use it, so you may be able to find it from an art store...or check with your local framer to see where they buy theirs & if you can get some from them.

If you have any more questions feel free to ask!!

To play or not to play...

Kits Well, I just got back from taking Nola to get her shots at the vet and I'm supposed to be cleaning up, filing, making phone calls, etc....but am  I REALLY don't feel like it.  I feel like playing.  I have new kits to play with & a stack of photos from Costco that NEED to be played with....but I'm torn....should I be good & get stuff done for home/work or play?!  Maybe I need lunch first....stay tuned.

Ugh, it's almost Monday!

I'm way busy right now & I sure wish today was Friday so I could enjoy another weekend!  Instead, it's Sunday evening & I'm making lists for this next week & doing laundry.  (I feel like I spend have my life doing laundry.)

Anyways, here's a recent LO....I'm WAY behind on posting my LOs, but oh well, one's better then nothing.
