Using Texture Cards in Mixed Media Projects

Who loves texture? -I do!!

Faber-Castell Texture Cards with a Gelli Plate

It's super easy and fun to add texture to your mixed media projects with Faber-Castell's Texture Cards. Here's a little video tutorial on some ways you can incorporate them into your next project:

And you don't always have to use a Gelli Plate, although they are super fun to play with! You can use them as a stencil to add borders and I used ink, but paint, Gelatos, and spray mists would be really cool too. Faber-Castell Texture Cards like a stencil with ink.

And of course using them with thick mediums is really neat too!  For this example I used some silver Texture Luxe over a stencil to define the bird's wings and tail.
