Scan N Cut: Scrapbook Page

BIC - LO - Stuck Like Glue1

You know that song that "Stuck Like Glue"?  Yeah, it's stuck in my head now too.  You're welcome.  ;)  Well, our two dogs...well, really all of our pets but the dogs especially, are totally the epitome of that saying!  They never leave one another's side.  It's really sweet, and I just had to scrapbook it!

I used the Scan N Cut machine to cut out all the bits and pieces of the layout.  The hearts (made out of patterned paper and transparency sheets), the borders, the photo corners, and the bracket.  You can watch the whole video of how to do it right here:

Here's some close up photos of the details. I love the textures of the corrugated paper, the transparency, and all the yummy patterned paper die-cuts.

It's so nice to dress up a die-cut with some doodling!

In Bloom Crochet Hat

So I mentioned the other day that I love to knit and crochet once the weather changes. I'm currently working on an afghan blanket and a few little projects, like this warm hat that I made in a nice charcoal gray (to go with everything).

Yarn used: Lion Brand Vanna's Choice in Dark Grey Heather...it took less then one skein

It was super quick to work up...get the directions HERE for both the one I made and a beret version. I think I may have to try the beret directions next time too since I love how the cap turned out!
