Today is my sister-in-law's baby shower and here are some of the things I've made for my soon-to-be-born niece.
Starting off....burp rags. Every baby needs them, and I think cute ones are the ticket. I bought a pack of fat quarters (pieces of fabric for you non sewing peeps) and sewed them to one side of a cloth diaper and added a bit of trim. Cute & easy.
Of course they needed a little tag so the parents would know what they are...they're 1st time parents LOL.
I also added some embellishments to a Making Memories Pre-Made Baby Album. -I can never just leave things alone. :)
I added flowers through out it (here's some examples) and made sure all the buttons were dressed with thread...yes I'm a button threader...can't have naked buttons!
Now of course I needed a card, so here's one I made with my Cricut Expression and the New Arrival cartridge.
And lastly, I needed a really big bow or something to go on some large gifts I got them from their gift registry...well I hate to spend money on bows since they are just going to get thrown out, so I made some flowers that Teresa Collins showed us how to make at Inspiration Unlimited to go on top.
If you're not crafty, but still want to give awesome gifts, check out these soft baby blankets or these neat baby gifts!
